Some, but not all, of our attractions require reservations. Some tours and attractions have this requirement due to capacity limitations, scheduling restrictions, or other factors. To make or cancel a reservation, please review our Istanbul Tourist Pass® mobile app, and pass management feature or the details provided for each event. It is important to note that making a reservation does not activate your pass; this way, you can secure your place for the selected activity or visit. 

Can I visit museums alone?

If you want to visit a museum, you can obtain your QR code for the museum entrance from Manage My Pass. All your museum visits, with or without a guide, allow you to skip the queues. We also offer you an audio guide for each museum that will be included in your pass. You can freely plan your experience yourself.

Where is the meeting point for guided tours? How can I meet the guide?

You can check the meeting points for guided tours on our website and through the application. All details and map links have been shared in detail. You can also consult our customer support team whenever you need to. For your convenience, our private meeting points can be easily recognized by a white flag or umbrella with the logo of our Istanbul Tourist Pass® mobile application. This provides a seamless and recognizable meeting point for all participants. How can I recognize the guide?

The tour guides carry a white flag or umbrella with the Istanbul Tourist Pass®️ logo. We recommend you arrive at the designated meeting point 15-20 minutes before your tour's scheduled start time.

Is the tip included? Should I tip guides?

Tips are not included in the cost of services, and although tipping is not required, it is greatly appreciated. If you found the guides' service enjoyable and useful and would like to express your appreciation, of course, you can make a gesture to your guide by giving a tip. 

Can I enter without a guide if I am late for one of the guided tours?

Unfortunately, if you arrive late for the tour, you will not be able to join the guided tour. But you do not need to worry. You can check the timing of the next tour and plan to join that instead.

The Pass has a one-visit limit for each attraction. However, you are free to visit multiple attractions on the same day, as there is no restriction on the number of attractions you can explore in a single day.

My arrival date changed after the pass start date I specified when purchasing. Does this cause a problem?

Is it enough to show my confirmation email to enter attractions?

In the confirmation email, you view your Pass ID for a link to access the Tourist Pass customer panel where you can view your Pass ID. You must make a reservation through Manage My Pass for attractions requiring reservations. 

Should I print my pass?

No, you don't need to print it at all. Your Manage My Pass page, which you log in with your Istanbul Tourist Pass ID, will be sufficient to manage your pass. If you do not have an internet connection, you can take a screenshot or printout of your Tourist Pass.

How should I count transit days, hours, or calendar days?

Istanbul Tourist Pass® counts calendar days. Calendar days do not count as 24-hour passes per day. For example, If you have a 4-day pass and activate it on Tuesday, it will expire at 23:59 on Friday. The pass can only be used on consecutive days. 

How long is the validity period of the Istanbul Tourist Pass®?

Istanbul Tourist Pass® has 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 10-day usage options. You start your Pass with your first activation in your Istanbul Tourist Pass® customer panel, and you can use it between the dates you selected and purchased. 

Are Tourist Passes valid for consecutive days?

Yes, they are. If you have a 4-day pass and activate it on the 15th of the month, you can use your Pass on the 15th, 16th, 17th, and 18th days of the month. Your pass will expire at 23:59 on the 18th.

I bought a ticket but haven't received your confirmation email yet. Or was your order rejected? If so, it may be due to one of the following reasons. Our system automatically generates your pass ID and sends you an email immediately after your purchase. If you can't see your email, please check your spam folder. 

Another reason could be a typo in the Email address. Your 3D Secure authentication may fail. Your bank may not have carried out the transaction as a security measure and may request additional authorization from you. Please write to us by chat or email so we can assist you.

Can I change my Pass selection after purchase, and if so, what is the process?

Skip the Ticket Line: Your Pass allows you to skip ticket lines at select events. This privilege allows you to save time without waiting in long ticket queues. How can I book essential attractions?

With your pass confirmation, we send you an access link so you can manage the pass panel. With this information, you can access Manage My Pass via our application. From the reservation section, you can easily make your reservation by filling out the relevant form for all attractions that require reservation. Once the transaction is completed, the supplier will send you a confirmation email within 24 hours. 

Do I need to make reservations for each attraction before visiting the attractions?

No, it is not required for all of them. It is only needed for some attractions. For example, Some attractions, such as a breakfast or dinner on the Bosphorus or sightseeing tours of the surrounding area, require reservations. Making a reservation is very easy. You can make your reservations from your Manage My Pass account. After your reservation, our suppliers will send you confirmation and pickup time so you are ready for pickup. When you meet, show your Pass/QR code to the transfer or entry officer. Note - Making a reservation does not activate your Pass. 

Do I need to make reservations for guided tours?

Yes, you must make a reservation and be at the meeting point 15 minutes earlier. You can find the meeting time and meeting point information in the description of each attraction. Please show your pass (QR code) to our guides so they can admit you. 

How many days in advance can I make reservations for essential attractions?

You can make your reservations until the last 24 hours of the date you plan to attend the event. 

Will I receive confirmation after I make the reservation?

After your reservation, information will be shared with our supplier. Our supplier will send you a confirmation email. If a pickup service is available, the pickup time will also be shared in the confirmation email. For some attractions, you must be present at the meeting time in your hotel lobby. For some attractions, it is sufficient to be at the relevant place on the reservation day and time.

How do I activate my Unlimited Public Transportation card?

Your card will be delivered to your hotel in your name one day before your arrival. Once you receive the card, you can easily activate it using the kiosk machines. We would like you to know that the card is for personal use and is valid only for one person. You need to order as many transportation cards as you need for how many people you need. Please note that having a transportation card makes your transportation experience in Istanbul comfortable and tailored to your needs. 

Can I benefit from airport transfer or other transportation services with my Istanbul Tourist Pass®?

With the Istanbul Tourist Pass®, you can take advantage of the free Airport Shuttle service, which will take you from the airport to areas close to your accommodation. 

We also offer discounted private transfers to our pass guests, which will easily take you from the airport directly to the door of your hotel. 

If you prefer a special VIP transfer, you can add it to your cart when purchasing your Pass. If you have not purchased it additionally at that moment, you can also purchase it via Manage My Pass, which you log in to via our application with your Pass ID.  

My pass has expired, and I could not book a Transfer. Can I still book it?

We regret to inform you that you will not be able to book a transfer after your pass has expired. For a smoother experience, we kindly request our guests to make their reservations before the transition period ends. 

What transportation is included in the Istanbul Tourist Pass®?

Public transportation is not included in your Istanbul Tourist Pass®. However, you can purchase your transportation card at a special price advantage for our pass guests. Your Istanbul Tourist Pass includes services such as Bosphorus tours, round-trip island boat tours, pickup and drop-off for Dinner and Cruise on the Bosphorus, round-trip discounted airport transfer, airport shuttle, and Full-Day transportation for Bursa and Sapanca & Masukiye Tours. 

Cancellations & Refunds

Can I get my money back if I cannot fully use my passes on the planned date?

Your Istanbul Tourist Passes can be used two years after purchase or canceled two years later. You can also use your ticket on your new travel date. However, they become active only on the first use or when booking any tourist attraction. 

Your Istanbul Tourist Passes allow you to save the amount you pay for the pass compared to the entrance prices to tourist attractions during your visit to Istanbul. Before you buy your ticket, you may feel tired and uncomfortable and may not be able to visit as many places as you planned, miss the open hours of attractions, or be unable to join our guided tours on time. Or, preferably, you might visit fewer attractions and not want to see the others. In this case, if you have such a request, we only calculate the entrance gate prices of the tourist attractions you use, which are shared on our Places to Visit page. If it is less than the amount you paid for your pass, we refund the remaining amount under the savings guarantee. Please note that for a refund to be given, booked activities must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance and not to be considered used. 

I cannot come to Istanbul, but can I have a relative or friend use my pass?

To do this, contact our Customer Support team at support@istanbultouristpass before your arrival. Our team will change the cardholder information and prepare it for the new pass holder. 

I could not use it at all, and my trip was cancelled. How can I get a refund, and what is the procedure?

To request a refund and understand the procedure, please note that the following applies universally to all services and events without different cancellation policies. A 10% entrance fee applies for all cancellations, including additional services. Unfortunately, no refund can be given if cancellation is made less than 24 hours in advance or if the reservation is a no-show. If you have specific concerns or need assistance with the refund process, please review our Terms and Conditions or contact our Customer Support team. They will assist you with the necessary steps and provide guidance on the refund procedure. 

How long will it take to receive my refund?

Once your request has been reviewed, usually within 24 hours of receipt, we will process your refund within 10 to 15 business days (excluding weekends).

We would like you to know that the passes include a savings guarantee for you, and unfortunately, we cannot refund only for unused days. However, you can benefit from the saving warranty terms. By calculating the entrance gate prices shared on our website for each event for all your uses, if these amounts are less than the amount you paid for your Pass, we refund the remaining amount within the scope of the savings guarantee. How can I access the Free Istanbul Digital City Guide?

We offer our Istanbul Tourist Pass guests access to a comprehensive Digital Guide, which they can log in with their Pass ID. Moreover, this guide, which you can access in 24 different languages, contains many tips to help you be more planned and organized while travelling and experiencing Istanbul. You will have access to much information, from transportation to city life, places to visit, and maps. Moreover, you will know all this before you come to Istanbul, and you can start your experience much more prepared.

Can e-tickets be scanned on my phone?

Yes, when you click on "Show Ticket", your instant digital ticket will appear as a QR code on your smartphone screen. At the entrance of each attraction, the code will be scanned. Remember QR codes will be shown only when you are in close proximity of the attraction's entrance.

How to scan QR tickets?

Your ticket will be shown as a QR code on your smartphone when you click "Show Ticket" in your App. Then at the gate of the attraction, gate personnel will scan your QR code and grant you access. 

How do I scan electronic tickets?

The electronic tickets will be shown as QR codes and the attraction personnel will scan your code, then grant you access. All you need to do is click "Show Ticket" on your App and show your screen to the personnel at the entrance. 

Do I need to print my e-ticket?

No, the process is completely digital. To get your instant QR ticket, you need to be in close proximity to the attraction entrance. Then, all you need to do to show your screen to the entrance personnel to scan your QR code.

Savings Guarantee

What is the Savings Guarantee?

The Cityberry Savings Guarantee ensures you save money by purchasing a pass. If, during the validity period of your pass, the total cost of activities you use individually exceeds the price of the pass itself, Cityberry will refund the difference.

What are the requirements to qualify for the Savings Guarantee?

To qualify for the Savings Guarantee, you must use your pass for at least three attractions each day throughout the entire duration of your pass.

How do I submit a claim for the Savings Guarantee?

Within 5 days of your pass's last use, submit a claim by emailing [email protected]. Please include your Pass ID, order confirmation number (found in your confirmation email), and a brief description of your claim.

How long does it take to receive a response on my Savings Guarantee claim?

Our Customer Support team will carefully examine your pass activity and respond to your claim within 7-10 business days.

How are refunds calculated for the Savings Guarantee?

Refunds are calculated based on the "Price Without Pass" sections listed for each Attraction used. Please note a 10% processing fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
