Yildiz Park is a stunning garden complex located in a huge park filled with flowers, plants, and trees that date back to the Ottoman Empire and were collected worldwide. The Bosphorus can be seen from all angles from the park grounds. The park is a well-liked location for picnics, particularly on weekends. Two lovely antique pavilions, the Cadir and the Malta pavilions, are where people gather to relax, sip tea, eat breakfast, and have lunch.
The park is divided into two portions: the outer section, accessible to the general public, houses the Sale, Cadir, and Malta pavilions and the still-in-use Yildiz porcelain factory. Magnolia, bay leaves, Judas trees, silver limes, and horse chestnuts are some of the park's plant life. In addition, the park is home to oak, cypress, pine, yew, cedar, and ash trees. There are also two artificial lakes.
In Cadir and Malta pavilions, there are now cafes where you can enjoy coffee in a historical building. In Malta Pavillion, an open buffet breakfast is also served on weekends. You can also take some food from these cafes and picnic in the park.
Although Yildiz Park is very central, finding the park's gates can be confusing. The best way is to use the main entrance on Ciragan Street if you are on foot. The entrance is just in the middle of Besiktas and Ortakoy, near the police station. If you go there by taxi, the driver will probably take you to the entrance on the hill.

Yıldız Park, as its name suggests, stood out as the exclusive garden of Yıldız Palace during the Ottoman Empire. This area, which initially existed as a forest during the Byzantine period, began to be used as a hunting ground for the sultans.
