Istanbul is a vibrant, dynamic city that never gets boring. In historical areas, ancient alleys nestle next to modern cafes; ships traverse the Bosphorus while seagulls sing above. Oh, be sure to give them simit! The markets are busy during the day, and at night, the water sparkles.Music drifts from tiny bars, and new art fills hidden courtyards. Visitors see history on every corner, yet artists reshape today in the same spaces. Istanbul is a meeting point for voices from all over the world. This city mixes taste, sound, and color in one bright rhythm. This is the city we love.
That bright rhythm turns up again with the IST. Arts & Culture Festival. The festival runs from May 30 to June 1, 2025. It celebrates its fifteenth year. Talks, installations, film screenings, and live shows fill three full days. Streets, galleries, and waterfront stages become open classrooms and playgrounds. The new edition proves that Istanbul keeps its creative heart wide open. It invites everyone to join, to listen, and to share.
General Information About IST. Arts & Culture Festival
The IST. Arts & Culture Festival began in 2010. It was created by Demet Müftüoğlu Eşeli and Alphan Eşeli. They lead the group called ISTANBUL’74. The 2025 festival is the fifteenth edition starting in May 2025. It runs from May 30 to June 1, 2025. Entry to every event is free. The program lasts three full days. Art, design, film, music, fashion, photography, and literature all share the same stage.
Visitors can enjoy talks, panels, film screenings, workshops, and live shows. Large art installations will appear in galleries and on city streets. Events pop up along the Bosphorus and across different neighborhoods. Creators from many countries come to Istanbul to connect. Famous guests from past years include writers, directors, and top artists. The goal is to spark new ideas and build cultural bridges. This anniversary edition shows how wide and welcoming Istanbul’s art scene can be.
